Since Donald Trump’s victory to the White House, liberals across the country have doubled down on their hateful rhetoric.
So shocked that a conservative outsider could beat their candidate, liberals are doing everything in their power to resist Trump and undermine his leadership.
Perhaps the biggest opponents to the President? Legislators in the state of California. Even before he took office, they voted to reprimand him during one of their sessions, with only a single leader speaking against it. Their liberal leaders have vowed to defy the president regarding illegal aliens, promising to turn California into a safe haven for criminals, rapists, murderers, and drug runners.
There has even been rumors that the state will secede from the Union.
It’s clear they are positioning themselves as an enemy to Trump’s federal government.
Amidst posturing and telling President Trump that California will become a sanctuary state, Governor Moonbeam is now crawling to Trump and asking for federal assistance…
Brown has called Trump everything but a Nazi. He’s defied him at every turn and they have threatened to not pay their federal bills as well from what I understand. The state is bankrupt and they have real security problems there.
And now a natural disaster hits and here comes the leading moonbat of the Golden State… hand outstretched and entitled…
Gov. Jerry Brown has asked President Trump to declare a major disaster for California because of damage from January storms.
The letter sent Friday says the relentless series of storms caused flooding, mudslides, evacuations, erosion, power outages and at least eight deaths. Northern California was hardest hit.
Brown says the storm system was so severe and widespread that state and local governments need federal assistance to continue dealing with the problems it created.
News has come in over the weekend that the situation is getting worse for parts of California. The Oroville Dam shows signs of massive failure, forcing hundreds of thousands of people to flee for their lives.
The dam itself might collapse, creating an ecological and economic disaster.
You can be sure that California will be dependent on federal funds for years to come, should the dam collapse. In any event, the state is suffering from these floods and mudslides and will require the federal government to offer aid, funds, and support to keep citizens safe and eventually rebuild.
